music ... the fruit of love.
music is one of the most important things in my life. although im not blessed with any talent whatsoever besides a comprehension of notes and the ability to sins in key, music plays a huge role in my life.

tonight before dinner my dad put on one of his old records, i had my headphones on listening to hanson (ill get into that later) and my brother had his headphones on listening to his music. we were all dancing around eachother listening to music and sharing a huge common link ... music.

although we were all lost in our own worlds of music we were all connected by music. its hard to explain but it felt good.

and explaining the hanson cd ... ive found that listening to old music you used to enjoy is almost better than listening to a new cd. when i liked hanson i played it so much it wasnt any fun anymore ... but after not listening to it for soo long it seems fresh and fun. it just reminds me of when i really enjoyedthat kind of music in 6th grade and how easy things were then. not to say that my life is that hard but it just seems it complared to my earlier years.

i wish we had more legendary bands these days. we dont have these huge bands like the greatful dead, jefferson airplane, and the alman brothers band. they have all died out ... these days the music is more produced and glamorized. i am by no means saying im not guilty of enjoying this kind of music ... but i wish i could experience the music the way it was in the 60's and 70's.

if you ever get the chance to download jefferson airplane download "someone to love". grace slick sings most of it. she has the most amazingly incredibly beautiful voice.if i could choose one person to sound like i wish it was her. i wish she wasnt dead.
