where do they get these babies they use in movie and in tv. you know ... the ones that are just born, slightly purpilish, covered in fetal goo ... where do they get these children? do parents just like offer up their new borns to be covered in what looks like a placenta for a little bit of cash? are these babies just really finely made puppets or animatronics? or do they actually impregnate their actors, wait 9 months, then shoot the scene??? this is what gets me. i want to know. but google didnt turn much up update: (convo with tom to the z.)
