with or without you.
the prom was almost as fantastic as i had prevuiously imagined it to be.

i wish now that the day was a little more relaxing and everything wasnt so rushed.

casey and i had our pre-prom ritual of mud masks, pore strips, pizza, brownies, and my best friends wedding. then we ran around picking up flowers cameras and getting our hair done.

although i hate makeup and im not very good when it comes to getting all dolled up i loved getting my hair/nails/makeup done. i felt like such a girl, which tends to be nice sometimes.

zoomie picked me up and we went to his house to be fawned over by his family, then back to brendan's house for more picures. i had fun at brendan's and everyone looked amazing. then we went to the pre-prom promenade at the highschool where we had to walk down this runway and dont forget to hold your shoulders back and smile and dont block your dress with your flowers dont go to slowly and dont slip and fall in front of everyone. that was the most nerveracking 10 seconds of my life as they read some things about me and i had to try to remember the aforementioned things. of course my mom is proud of me becasuse now im on tv ...

the prom was lovely actually. the ballroom was small, but it didnt feel like it should have been bigger. the food was great, especially the potatoes, and the music wasnt nearly as bad as previously anticipated. i enjoyed dancing and it was awesome to be around so many people looking absolutly beautiful. they guys looked especially excellent. pat and brendan looked awesome in their mint green and baby blue tuxes. jon nelson looked awesome with his all white ensamble, and mark was stunning in his coat tails and top hat.

after the prom a few of us went back to pats house to have breakfast and i went home to sleep.

today i went to the shore. it was cold and extremely foggy, but the day couldnt be ruined if we tried. we played video games, ate obscene amounts of french fries, and had a monster dart gun fight on the beach. then it was all topped off with a ride on the ferris wheel which was all lit up because it was dark and foggy. it was awesome.

im glad i got to hang out with the people i did. i couldnt have had more fun. i like this whole prom thing.

the wierd thing is ... that while everyone was complaining that the prom song wasnt a good song for the prom ... i was saying that i could relate to that song whole heartedly.
