bang
so hmmm ... ive severely slacked off when it comes to diaryland. and maybe thats because i havent really been on the computer that much in the last week. which is something im proud of actually, because ive been doing something other than waste my time on the internet.

monday i went to hershey park. besides the frighteningly large amount of people dressed as some sort of chocolate product, it was a relatively good time. they lightning racers rollercoaster was an amazing ride. the roller soaker on the otherhand, sucked balls. it wasnt even that hot out but we decided to go on it because it "looked cool". basically you wait in line while the rollercoaster goes over you and the people on the ride pull this little lever and you get water dumped on you. and this is constant through the whole line. and its not like theyre dumping moderately cold water on you ... no its the kind of water that is so cold that your entire body locks up and instantly sends you into convulsing shivers. yum. then when you get to the end part of the line it gives you enough time to dry off completely before you get onto the ride that soaks you in water again.

and i must say, apart from the free chocolate at the end, the hershey factory "tour" was a joke! argh.

tuesday i met jimmy buffet. my dad scored some sort of backstage "inner circle" thing and i dragged zoomie along with me. we were directed into the "green room" where a bunch of people were standing around and talking. me and zoom and my little brother settled in on this big couch in the back and sent my brother back and forth with food. they had those little hot dogs, and pizza eggrolls, and jalepeno poppers.

then nonchalantly we had to walk over to the door as this guy directed the few of us over and said "jimmy is ready for you now". oh man it was so cliche. so we went out on this loading dock, got set up for a picture and waited for jimmy to make his entrance. now, i had no idea what jimmy buffet looked like, and i probably still wouldnt be able to recognize him. hes this short little bald man with a southern accent. hes so generic looking it was crazy. he shook our hands, smiled for a picture and shook our hands again ... then left. it was an earth shattering experience, let me tell you.

to we proceded to the VIP tent to get our free food on and then the show started. and i have to admit, it was alot of fun. he sure knows how to put on a good live show, and man, jimmy buffet is the man. i wish i had an uncle like him or something.

so that was fun.

last night was kyle's "surprise" party. i was told that it was crazy dress-up theme, but i was the only one who was crazy dressed up, fantastic.

i ended up starting a cake fight that ended with me getting pummeled with cake which covered every facial oriface and all of my hair completely. it was disgusting, yet extremely funny. so much so that kyle was having a hard time not peeing herself.

excellent.

so the summer is off to a good start.
