i love visiting new york, i always seem to come home with another good friend.

i got to see my camp friends, or at least the 5 that showed up to the "party" it was still nice though, i dont mind seeing people i care about.

saturday i went to breakfast with kate, or more like i went to the dugan's and watched them jam while drinking kate's tea. they really know how to put a great sound together, matt, nate and mike. i got the car all day, and felt overwhelmingly accomplished when i found my way around rochester by myself.

erin and i made christmas cookies. we went to wegmans to get the slice and bake variety ... that now come already sliced. at least the clean-up was easy.

i got lost on the way to kate's but wasnt really lost at all. we went to the city to a coffee shop to listen to music, but the place was packed and we couldnt even sit down. so we got back in the car and went all the way back to the boondocks to watch the shining. interesting film ... i dont think ive ever seen a movie in which i sat gaping in horror the whole way through.

my mom made me drive a few hours today, and i miss the days when i sat in the back seat curled up sleeping while my parents took care of the driving, and weaving through crazy drivers who drive way too fast.

i like being home. i missed you.
